Stokes Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization featured on GuideStar and Network for Good.  All donations are tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by Federal Law.

Gift Online using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover: Click here or use the PayPal Donation widget in the Campus Store to sponsor a program, team, or club.  No PayPal Account Required when using the PayPal Donation Widget.

Gift Online using a Credit Card via PayPal: Click one of the tiered PayPal Donate Buttons located on our Home Page to donate using a Credit Card via PayPal.

Gift Monthly by scheduling a recurring gift using PayPal: Click on the PayPal Donate Widget located in the Campus Store.  Place a check mark in the “Make This Recurring (Monthly)” box.  No PayPal Account Required.

Gift by Check: Make a donation by mailing a check payable to Stokes Foundation, 4966 Broadway #37, New York, NY 10034-2342.

Gift of Securities: If you choose to donate stock, bonds or other securities, you may qualify for an income tax deduction at the time the securities are transferred to Stokes Foundation, as well as avoid long-term capital gains on the appreciated value of the donated securities. Before undertaking any gift of securities to Stokes Foundation, you should consult your tax advisor in order to determine if your specific situation qualifies you for such tax treatment. To make a donation of securities, please contact us directly.

Charitable Gift Annuity: A Charitable Gift Annuity (“CGA”) contract enables a donor to make a gift of cash, marketable securities or other assets that will generate an immediate income tax deduction plus provide an annuitized stream of income to the donor for life. Returns to donors are based upon rates published and approved by the American Council on Gift Annuities, which are subject to change. Please consult your financial and/or tax advisor prior to making a CGA or any other form of planned gift. For assistance in setting up a CGA to benefit Stokes Foundation or to receive a customized, confidential illustration, please contact us directly and we will have a Development Consultant assist you.

Other Forms of Planned Giving: In addition to a CGA, you can assist Stokes Foundation through a number of different forms, each of which can constitute a “legacy” gift. These include designating us in your Will, Estate Plan or Life Insurance Policy, donating real estate to help us build Urban Boarding Schools or serve as investment properties, other hard assets or closely-held stock or one of many additional types of annuity contracts. Please consult your financial and/or tax advisor prior to making any such commitment. For assistance in evaluating your various planned legacy options, contact us for assistance.

Matching Gifts: Many corporations match the gifts their employees make to charitable organizations. Check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program in place, and if so, please send us their matching gift form or fill in the relevant information at checkout while using the Donate Widget in our Campus Store or by clicking here.

All donations made to Stokes Foundations can be designated to support general operations or specific programs or activities. Stokes Foundation is classified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization.
